LEGACY
TWIRLERS |

Legacy Twirlers is focused on smiles and fun. It is a
member of Twirling Unlimited (www.twirlingunlimited.com).
It is a non-competitive beginner group designed for members
who are too small or too young to compete with the winter
guards. The Legacy Twirlers program is an introduction to
movement and dance using a much smaller piece of equipment –
the baton. Members will learn the basics as well as a
simple routine that they will perform at parades and at the
Legacy Show. As members become more experienced they will
have the option to compete individually in the baton
circuits.
Legacy Twirlers is a year-round program.
From September to April classes run every Saturday morning
and are 50 minutes each. From May to August, classes move
outdoors and run every Monday evening. The cost is $10 per
class or $30 per month. Members will need to purchase a
personal baton for $20 and a Legacy warm up suit. |

LEGACY SPIRIT |
|
Legacy Spirit is focused on recreation and learning. It is
a member of the North East Color Guard Circuit (www.necgc.net)
and Twirling Unlimited (www.twirlingunlimited.com)
and competes in the senior class. According to NECGC rules,
senior class guards must have at least 1 member that is over
the age of 22. All ages are welcome.
Legacy Spirit is a year round program. It
runs competitively from September to April each year.
Rehearsals are every Saturday from 9:30am to noon. The cost
is $100 for the season. This fee includes all instruction,
equipment and travel. Members will need to purchase black
rehearsal wear of their choice, gloves, costume, a show kit
(list provided), meals when necessary and a Legacy warm up
suit.
Legacy Spirit also runs non-competitively
from May to August. Classes run every Monday night and are
50 minutes each. There is no cost for this program.
Instruction and equipment is provided. |

LEGACY STARS |
|
Legacy Stars is focused on education and
foundation. It is a member of the North East Color Guard
Circuit (www.necgc.net)
and competes in the cadet class. According to NECGC rules,
stars class members are generally middle school age;
however, exceptions can be made.
The Legacy Stars program runs from September
to April each year. Rehearsals are every Saturday morning
from 9am to noon. The cost is $300 for the season. This
fee includes all instruction, equipment, costumes and
travel. Members will need to purchase black rehearsal wear
of their choice, meals when necessary, a show kit (list
provided) and a Legacy warm up suit. |

LEGACY INDEPENDENT |
|
Legacy Independent is focused on high performance and achievement.
It is a member of the North East Color Guard Circuit (www.necgc.net)
and Winter Guard International (www.wgi.org)
and competes in the Independent Open class. According to
WGI rules, Legacy Independent is an international winter guard so
there are no age restrictions. As such, members are
selected based on their experience level.
The Legacy Independent program runs from September
to April each year. Rehearsals are every Sunday from 9am to
5pm. There are additional “Power Weekends” from time to
time that consist of 9 to 9 rehearsals on Saturday and
Sunday. The cost is $1000 for the season. This fee
includes all instruction, equipment, costumes, travel and
hotel accommodation. Members will need to purchase black
rehearsal wear of their choice, gloves, body tight, a show
kit (list provided), meals when necessary and a Legacy warm
up suit. |
